Polite reminder: The bikeabilty instructors will be in school for year 5 from tomorrow (Monday 13th - Wednesday 15th) 

Pupils will have lots of fun during their training and learn core cycling skills at the same time!

If your child is using their own bike and/or helmet, this is the reminder to bring it to school on these days! Thank you.

Half Term Activity Pack

Trans Pennie Trail Team are delighted to share our brand‑new Kids’ May Half Term Activity Pack, filled with fun nature‑themed activities including an i-Spy challenge, planting seeds, a recipe and a puzzle for families to enjoy during the holiday. It’s a great way to inspire children to get creative, explore the outdoors, and learn more about the outdoors and the Trans Pennine Trail.

With colourful characters leading the way, this activity pack inspires kids to discover spring wildlife, get creative, and enjoy the magic of the outdoors. There are opportunities to share their adventures and to earn a digital certificate.The packs are ideal for Key Stage 1 and 2, but there’s something for everyone – whether you’re a teacher, parent, or young explorer. They’re perfect for use on the Trail, in your local park, or even indoors on a rainy day. Every pack is designed to help everyone learn, play, and make memories while exploring the outdoors.

 The activity pack can be used ‘on the go’ by downloading it to a mobile or can be printed at home. Use the link below.

Deaf Awareness week has been this week. It focuses on raising awareness, supporting families and highlighting deaf culture and history. 
In honour of this, children from our year 4 class have learnt and practiced a beautiful performance for you all to see.
